The Bench Press Band for Powerlifting & Weight Lifting (Bench Press, Dips, Pushups).
TheBench Band is a relatively new piece of gear in the strength training realm. It is a supportive upper body accessory constructed from a premium heavy denure elastane fabric.
Its function allows you to handle more weight while bench pressing – in percentage figures, roughly 10% overload. It is also suitable for heavy dipping and pushups.
So why use this piece of equipment?
Our Bench Band can assist the general gym junkie to a seasoned athlete looking to increase their upper body strength. The Iron Bench Band does not impede on your form – it actually mimics the natural movement of your musculature on both the up and down phase of the movement (commonly called concentric and eccentric phase if we’re talking in relation to the bench press).
This allows one to push him or herself to their limits, while reducing stress on the the chest, shoulders and elbows.
PLEASE NOTE:
For best use, the Sling Shot should fit securely over the lower bicep and elbow.
Some important notes:
- Depending how much use it gets, the Iron Bench Band needs to be replaced every 6-12 months to peak performance and safety. This is due to moisture build up from sweat and perspiration.
- ALWAYS have a spotter when using this piece of equipment.
- The use of wrist wraps is strongly recommended for additional support.
